These photos tell the story of our first few weeks in Manto Coahuila.

The children were not left out during the time the groups were here. Each group spent time with the children to make them feel special as individuals.

God already had a plan at work. The 3rd day we were there, a group from Texas appeared at our gate and said they were there to help. They had scheduled a trip months ago to come do some work projects at the Home. However, they did not know that the Home had changed hands. They were totally unprepared for what they found, but they dug in and helped us for three days. The change was amazing. Then another group and then a third group...all within the first 2 weeks! God is so amazing.

Not only did these folks clean, but they painted, repaired appliances, built and repaired walls and fences, fixed leaks, and even made new curtains for the kitchen. It was simply amazing. The house still has a long way to go, but it already looks like a different house. It actually looks like a house than had an "extreme Makeover!. Aside from the immense blessing for Anna and I, it was also a huge testimony to our girls how God intends to take care of them.

These "angels" were truly sent by God at just the right time and we thank them and the Lord for the incalculable blessing they were to all of us in the Home.
